On their way to the car, Austin showed Miller the last text Harriet sent with a pic of Remi sleeping. He put his arm around Miller and told him, "I kept you from having any real fun tonight, didn't I? Sorry."

"Are you crazy?" Miller said turning to face him, his eyes shining. "I had a great time. If going to clubs was like that all the time, I'd be a clubbing guy."

Austin laughed. "It was great. I guess we just get along good."

Miller nodded and stared at the pavement in front of him. "Thanks for tonight."
